Magnolia Movement Experience

Welcome to Magnolia Movement PT and Wellness, a new physical therapy experience with a focus on you and your health journey. Our mission is to provide quality one-on-one physical therapy care. This means that you are seen by a Doctor of Physical Therapy for the duration of your visit and not participating in group exercises in a gym full of people. Our treatment philosophy starts with hands on techniques to optimize movement with less use of machines and equipment. We prescribe exercises that are easily done at home yet that are meaningful for you. Lastly, we provide the knowledge and resources to empower you to move better through life’s challenges.

Our values drive our success. We assess and treat the whole person. The body is a mesh of systems and regions that work together to create a healthy being. Many symptoms that seem to linger are driven by other areas of the body that are not operating efficiently. This can be a joint that is stiff, muscle that is tight, decreased organ mobility or function, or movement patterns altered by pain. We strive to provide excellent care. Our physical therapists continually seek further education to stay up to date on treatment techniques and holistic assessments. Collaboration and mentorship with similar providers builds on experiences with unique cases. Furthermore, we take pride in empowering others through education. We all have habits that contribute to our pain and less ideal symptoms. Long term changes are needed, and it must be your decision to get better and stay healthy. We are here with resources to make little changes that lead to big success.

At Magnolia Movement we provide services that are specialized in women’s pelvic floor health, cancer rehabilitation and support, and other physical therapy needs concerning body aches and pains.

Here at the Healthy Conversations Blog we talk about many therapy services, symptom presentations, prevention, and varying treatment options. The goal is to arm you with some knowledge to start a conversation with your healthcare providers. This Blog is not meant to be personal medical advice. Discussions solely involve our educated opinions. Every person’s health journey is different, and a full assessment would be recommended before prescribing any form of treatment.
